  • Here's some of what is known: http://murphy80.hubpages.com/hub/7th-Edition-Warhammer-40k-Rules

  • Can't say I've ran into anything yet, maybe thats because of Cryx Oh there's a new FaQ BTW, stops Retribution from having a RNG 50, POW 50 hydra cannon ( thankfully!)

  • It's pure speculation ATM. With the recent rule additions ( escalation & stronghold), 6th Ed was a mess and needed addressed, hence the new edition. Oddly with the changes to the phychic phase it is even closer to fantasy that before. Not all …

  • It definitely has the potential to be horrific but until we know all the variables ( e.g how much D str weapons have been nerfed etc) we won't know for sure. Though at the club I can't see it being a huge problem as very few people have access to th…

  • The Codex books themselves are not really broken. Sure some are stonger than others, but thats always been the case in 40k( and Fantasy, as well as countless other games). One on one and most books can get a decent fight with a newer updated book. …

  • Actually, from what I've experienced in 6th ed,the biggest cheese derived from the core rules, specifically Allies. That's where most power lists stem from. Without the ability to benefit from an allies rules most of the cheese would simply vanish. …

  • Odds are I'll pick it up. From what I've read it solves a lot of problems 6th edition has(broken allies, multi book death stars etc) and you can use virtually anything you want should you choose.

  • No Tau for 2nd Ed. either. Also, there are signs pointing to the next edition of 40k being released towards the end of May, 24th if I recall.
  • Since when has GW bothered itself with trivial things like realism? besides at least now they don't look like geriatrics.
  • I quite like the range, enough to be considering getting a small Wood Elf army.
  • Remember that the helbrute kit is relatively new, up until it's release the only one available was the Dark Vengeance one which had one choice of weapons. I can't vouch for what options it has in the books ATM but tbh it's better as a weapon platfor…
  • Hellbrutes are just CSM dreadnoughts, most of which ( if any) can't take thunder hammers.
  • That could be interesting Ian.
  • The rules regarding what is and is not legal for a kill team are in the kill team rules. I'm sure Liam can provide a link ( though they're pretty much identical to previous kill team rules). It's been a while since I read it but I recall no rule in …
  • Just to point out the obvious: Point 1 is mostly irrelevant as in kill teams most special rules that apply are in the rulebook. Codex specific ones stand as normal eg my 5th Ed space wolves codex still works in 6th Ed as all of the rules are still …
  • I'd second that, seems fairer ( and somewhat more logical) that one of those who ran for the position originally should at least get an opportunity. Also regarding these 'temporary' posts, out of curiosity, how long do they last? Just wondering as…
  • Liam's link is the latest kill team rules ( which you might want to remove for legal reasons) for 6th edition 40k.
  • Sent you a private message
  • Will be there on Saturday around 3 .
  • Not sure yet, possibly Tomorrow, Friday or Saturday. I'll let you know for sure asap.
  • Not ATM but I can take some, or bring them to the club/Jarrod's if you'd prefer to see them in person.
  • Fair few players last i knew, just need to ask for a game. I'm always up for warmahordes
  • You know I'm always up for some 40k Paul.
  • Already have mine ordered for the bargain price of £60.
  • send me prices for the retribution stuff dude. PM, facebook or txt is fine.

  • Micro products are the result of the same product being sold on consoles and PC (DLC) which also used to be given away for free, GW just transferred it over to tabletop gaming before anyone else did. As for stronghold/ escalation, they might help a …
  • Yeah it seems to be the big news, not surprising I don't think, though the actual cause seems to be anyone's guess. With a little luck it'll happen next quarter too and maybe then they'll rethink their business plan.
