Actually, from what I've experienced in 6th ed,the biggest cheese derived from the core rules, specifically Allies. That's where most power lists stem from. Without the ability to benefit from an allies rules most of the cheese would simply vanish. …

Odds are I'll pick it up. From what I've read it solves a lot of problems 6th edition has(broken allies, multi book death stars etc) and you can use virtually anything you want should you choose.
