Just a heads up that Hellfire Gaming Industries are doing up to 20% off of Relics, war machine, hordes and Infinity right now.
With the recent demos etc at the club I thought some folk might be interested.
There's also the aleph toolbox for army building. It's not perfect but until infinity army 5 is finished it's the best available.

As a huge Drizzt fan myself can you share your source on this claim?
My understanding is that the first Drizzt book was published in 1988 while the Drow had their first rules as a playable character race in 1985 (unearthed arcana)
Pretty sure the hordes box is around the same, though at 25pts and only one list I expect a skew list will win as there's not enough points and/or variety to bring all the tools most folk would want t help with those hard match ups.
There is an off…
Basicly when a wound is allocated you get to make one of the following: Armour save, cover save or invulnerable save. When rules permit, assuming you suffered a wound, you can also make a FnP roll.
Pg 164 of the rule book.
Dark Eldar, Grey Knights and Necrons were all written at the end of 5th and as such were created with 6th edition in mind. They transfer to 7th just fine.
@Gareth - I have 3x 2000pts armies with some extras to pick n mix from as well as the latest ruleset but I've not played yet

Gw are on par with most of it competition price wise, the difference being the amount of product needed to play, which is why the seem to be over priced.
Tbh, most folk I know proxy or convert them from normal drop pods, way cheaper and the end results can look fantastic. Certainly what I intend to do when I go drop pod heavy with my wolves.
The POINT being made had nothing to do with how much ANY individual could or could not afford but that in ANY club, a game will only take off if people are willing take a risk and get it in the first place, with more people playing the higher the ch…
Just pointing out that the larger the number of people 'waiting' reduces the chances of it actually being played and the less people playing reduces the chances of more people taking it up.
How much folks can/can't afford doesn't even come into it.
For C:CSM look at the Forgeworld Storm Eagle and the Kharibdys assault drop pod. 20model capacity, flyers (with assault ramps) and guns to boot.
You can use the Kharibdys for heavier stuff too, like Hellbrutes and Maulers iirc.
The problem with that train of thought however is that if folk will only 'play it if it takes off', then it never will, because no ones actively playing. Everyone will just be waiting to see if it gets a foothold.
It becomes a self fulfilling prophe…
Another pro for 7th edition is you can use every model you have. Got a Space marine and ork army? you can use them together. Got a Grey Knight army and a Daemon army - yes you can use them together too.
For those with multiple armies ( which most ga…
