I would love to join in with the league but I need to finish my blood angels to have a slight chance of not being mullered, or I wouldn't have the minimum requirements to play.
I was in a game that I was told not to bring apocalypse units to but my opponents did so me and my allies had nothing that could touch it. Good game, I have looked over the rules and on saving rolls and I interpret it as you either get one save from all of the groups (cover, Armour invon or feel no pain) or you get one from each group. So can someone explain how on all the games on the internet and the one I played on Wednesday that they all say you get one save from the following groups (cover, Armour or invon) and you get your feel no pain?
Basicly when a wound is allocated you get to make one of the following: Armour save, cover save or invulnerable save. When rules permit, assuming you suffered a wound, you can also make a FnP roll. Pg 164 of the rule book.
The rulebook still states that players should agree to non conventional 40k units before the game thus to make a balanced game. Also Krypter is correct you get one save (whichever is your best save) then if u have FnP you may take that as an additional roll against and unsaved wound.
But I though you knew that it was agreed that the Tyranid (1500) mach was the only one that apocalypse units where allowed? And i did not wont to sound mean by saying it any way. and that is way i did not tack my Guard.
Suppose going forward would suggest agreeing first noone likes to set up to just remove models from the table no fun in that. Or at least giving the opponent a heads up so they can try and counter it. Just my 2 pence like
