Here's one I call Dirty Rat. Wes Janson + Elusiveness + R2D2 + Proton Torp + Engine Upgrade
Dirty Rat aims to cause trouble while staying on the sidelines. After shooting early (being PS8) Wes strips the target of an evade, focus or target lock leaving them weak for others to strike. When Wes gets too much heat he can use elusiveness to stay alive although it gives him stress. When he does a green maneuver to recover R2 kicks in and gives him a shield. He then uses his engine upgrade to boost making the green move less limiting than it normally would. He saves his torp for his final enemy as a final stab in the back.
It allows Rebels to have a very hard to hit ship as until it gets 6 defence dice then 5 after wards the way it works is
it starts with 3 defence dice then your action each turn will be your astromech R2F2 as it give you an extra agility (defence die) for the turn and with push the limit you gain a stress and use R2F2 again for another agility and the 6th one comes from the Stealth Device
and the Sensor Jammer can help to reduce the amount of hits you opponent rolls when they don't have a focus token
Excellent game folks, really enjoyed that, and ta Wookie for the lone of the Y-Wing, but yeah agree even from a novice point of view and the fact I got to use and abuse him that R2 needs to be abducted by Jawas on Demolition Derby nights
Well played all!! Madness ensued and it was great to see so much carnage.
R5-P9 and R2-D2 will be on the ban list starting from DD4. They both offer unrivalled advantages and have proven repairable shields are not fit for deathmatch. R5-D8 and the R5 Astromech are possible alternatives to use.
DD4 will be another event to break the mould, your builds will be limited to 25pts forcing some very difficult decisions on each competitor.
"R5-D8 was an astromech droid used by Jek Tono Porkins during the Battle of Yavin. He had used the droid since he was a part of the Tierfon Yellow Aces. R5-D8 exploded together with Porkins's X-wing during the assault on Death Star I."

Re the e-wing build, you can't double up r2f2 you can't perform the same action more than once in any one round)
