Anyone with Lord of the Rings figures is welcome to join in our sand castle battle!
The BBQ will be up and running before midday, and is open to all. Find us past the Spa somewhere on the beach, hopefully the weather will be nice on Sunday...
I'll be there with Rohan and Khazad-dum/dwarven realms forces at several hundred points each. I'm also tempted to work on a customised sand-castle bucket in order to recreate the glory of the Hornburg in sand.

According to this site:
http://www.tides4fishing.com/uk/england/scarborough
high tides are...
24th 6.55am and 7.20pm
25th 7.35am and 8.05pm
26th 8.20am and 8.45pm
So if we start late morning we should be fine. We'll pick a day nearer the time, depending on people's availability and the weather.
I'd hesitate to suggest 40k again. It used to be a no-brainer but seems to be less popular these days. AOA on the beach might be cool.
LOTR or ITEN?
Be nice to maybe play some epic but the wind may just blow them away:(

We certainly got an audience and the BBQ went down well. Can everyone get their photos on our facebook page?
