Chris - Tidal data
This comes from Moonology. Count the days since the last full moon. Times that by 45 minutes. Add those minutes to 5pm and you have Scarborough high tide accurate to 10 minutes. I haven't tested this but it suggests we avoid the beach on dates approaching the full moon!
