A new year, a new game...

Hoping to get some fantasy games going at the club for a while, maybe I can convince a few of you to give Armies of Arcana a go. It's a pretty simple generic fantasy wargame. I have the rule book, which is all we need as there are no army books. I've recently started a Bretonnian style army and an undead one, so need some play-testers!

yep count me in just picked up aload of undead to add to my early 90's bits and bobs. Need to get a bit of fantasy gaming going

If people want to try this but need an army, I can bring one in for you to use (until I get round to putting them on eBay).

my undead force is coming along well and would love to get involved, just let me know when to bring em along:)

We are having a few practice games on Monday so we can get a feel of the rules, so if you can make it just bring what you have and we'll see what happens. The undead are interesting as the current list makes them all totally immune to missile weapons, reasoning arrows would pass straight through a skeleton without it noticing. I'll be down at around 7.30 as I'm working late on Monday.

am around thursday so could bring soem units then? think I may be playing 40k with ian but it wont take all night to kick my ass again:)

its a good game system and can see myself really getting in to it. Can we say a week on thursday for another playtest?

Yeah sure,I'll have some more units by then hopefully. Just ordered 200 bases, so when they get here it's all systems go!

chirs will be there with the rules I'm sure. We could do a 2v2 or a 2v1. As long as the points are the same it doesn't matter.

We'll have one big game,see what happens. We haven't even used points yet! Me & James had a couple of skirmishes on Monday, still happy with the rules.

cheers guys, have been painting fantasy minitures franticly and looking forward giving them a run out. Will get there at 7ish on thursday so dont start without me:)
Because its tricky to get to club twice a week to organise games, I am gonna get my mobile number to you guys so we can organise games in the future. Hope this is ok:)
