Where do allies come from? The busted Codex's. Hence the problem. But you're right in as much as without the allies rule you limit the number of deathstars a single player can take, but only time will tell for sure.

Just a thought, how about dropping the available points to 30 from 45? Make some hard decisions about whether a top pilot in a top fighter, or something fairly average but loaded up?

Wow, they are poor... Got to agree with Pauls assessment, they have barely the faintest nod towards trees. I mean, what's with the tentacles sprouting from ones hand? You could paint them in red and purples and they'd fit a Tyranid army.
